The Oscars arrive in Blanquerna FCRI
As an initiative of the Direction of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication, our School deployed the red carpet to see this year’s Oscars ceremony live. Sixty students responded to the call and came to eat popcorn and other cinema snacks in the School and share all the details of the most Hollywoodian night of the year.
Blanquerna FCRI hosts the first International Italy-Spain Seminar
This seminar of comparative studies brought together Italian, Catalan and Valencian scholars with the aim of jointly reflecting on the relationship between communication and democracy in the West. The title of the meeting was: «Media, digital networks and new parties».
Judith Colell, new director of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication
The film director Judith Colell has been named the new director of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication taught at Blanquerna FCRI.
The Alumna Yennifer Uribe, at the Clermond Ferrand Film Festival
The short film «Como la primera vez», by Yennifer Uribe Alzate, alumna of the Official Master’s course in Film and Television Fiction. Production, Script and Realization, directed by Dr. Fernando de Felipe and coordinated by Dr. Iván Gómez, has been projected at the last edition of the Festival International du Court Métrage à Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Last week, the Auditorium of our School served as the stage for one of the darkest events of the year in Barcelona: the BCNegra Festival of the noir novel in Catalan.

On Monday, in the Palace of the Generalitat, the book «Història del Periodisme de Catalunya», directed by Professor Francesc Canosa, was presented.
Amadeu Altafaj has visited us
This week, the representative of the Generalitat de Catalunya to the European Union, Amadeu Altafaj, gave a masterclass to the students of the Master’s course in Journalism and International Relations and the Master’s course in Political and Social Communication.
