Primavera Sound, Festival Internacional de Cinema d’Autor and Sala Beckett, new partners of Blanquerna FCRI

These three consolidated projects base their work on a commitment to Barcelona while having a clear international projection. Moreover, in all three cases, there is a firm commitment to supporting cultural diversity in the fields of music, film and theater.

The partners have worked together on the definition of the courses mainly aimed at professionalization with the contribution of case studies for analysis, conducting production exercises and the development of students’ professional practices.

The Master in Cultural Production and Communication is an official University Master which has two itineraries: research and professional. In the common blocks of both tracks, the Master is organized into three separate modules: one dedicated to the analysis of contemporary culture and cultural policies, another dedicated to production and business strategy and the last one focused on communication. The Master connects the latest milestones in cultural analysis and an approach to cultural studies with the new professional strategies in the development of audiences and new markets. In turn, it incorporates subjects related to cultural journalism and corporate communication.

The presentation of the Master included the participation of Mr Jordi Sellas i Ferrés, director general of Creació i Empreses the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya and representatives of the new partners:
