Cycle of conferences on «The catalan question seen from Afar»
The degree in International Relations has organised a series of conferences on the current situation here in Catalonia, with some of the most important visiting professors of the School.
These conferences will consist of a presentation of their thoughts about the situation followed by questions and a collaborative debate. The conferences will be scheduled from the 13th of November to the 13th of December, as follows:
Andrej Grachev, will approach the Catalan question from his background as historian and first line witness of the Fall of the Soviet Union and its consequences. His conference will take place, Monday November 13, from 2pm-3pm in the School Auditorium.
John Packer, will tackle the issue from an international law perspective and his broad experience as mediator and negotiator in international conflicts. His conference will take place Thursday November 16, from 2pm-3pm, in Room 201.
Joshua Cooper, will analyze the Catalan Question from a human rights perspective, in particular taking into account his vast experience with UN human rights mechanisms. His conference will take place Wednesday 13th of december from 2pm-3pm in Room 201.
These conferences will be in English and are available to all students and staff of the Blanquerna School.
