The managerial function is different from the teaching one; this means that, in order to exercise leadership in schools, different competencies are needed from teachers. At the same time, the directive is a complex task: pedagogical and innovation leadership, resource management, relations with the Administration, families or the environment, labor or economic management are functions that must be known. At the same time, the managerial task is a strategic factor of the centers that can greatly boost the school project.

This training is recognized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Resolution of 16 November 2020) and meets the training requirement to participate in the process of selecting the director of public schools.

The School for Principals is aimed at those people who are preparing to lead Christian schools in Catalonia in the coming years or for people who are already working in this field and wish to update their knowledge.

When we talk about MANAGERS, we are referring to educators who have governing responsibilities in a school, and in particular to those people who carry out the functions of the headmaster and/or general manager of the school.

It is recommended that the directors who participate in the EdD have solid educational experience, have already had some experience in coordination or management and identify with the educational project of the school, and have the maximum confidence of the head institution.
