The student Rafa Villar, U-19 basketball world champion
Rafa Villar, a first-year student of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences at the School of Psychology, Education and Sports Sciences, has made history this July after becoming the U-19 basketball world champion with his team.
The Championship was held in Debrecen (Hungary), where the Spanish U-19 team took the title after a thrilling game against France.
Villar, who plays as a point guard, was a key player in the final, playing thirty-nine minutes on the court and scoring a total of seventeen points, which made him a cornerstone in his team's victory.
