Presentation of the second edition of the Encoratja Award

The event was led by Yolanda Otal, member of the jury and professor at Lestonnac-Barcelona College and ISCREB, and was attended by Mons. Javier Vilanova, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Barcelona; Montserrat Prat, director of Education degrees at the FPCEE Blanquerna-URL; Meritxell Ruiz, general secretary of the FECC; and Mn. Pepe Chisvert, education delegate of the Diocese of Urgell, representing the Interdiocesan Secretariat for Religious Education in Catalonia (SIERC).

The award in the Educational Pastoral Care category was given to the Escenari Frontera project, a cross-disciplinary pastoral proposal for high school students, which was presented by the Jesuit Education Foundation. In the Religious Teaching category, the winning project was Innovareli, presented by Fundació Escolàpies.

This award, open to all educational centers in Catalonia, is organized jointly by the FPCEE Blanquerna-URL and the FECC, which guarantee the financial endowment, with the collaboration of the SIERC for its dissemination to all dioceses with headquarters in Catalonia and especially to Religion teachers in public schools.
