Do you know about the Blanquerna-School Transition program?

As part of the Blanquerna-School Transition program, which was launched in the 2018-2019 academic year, the Blanquerna-URL School of Psychology, Education and Sport Science has been forging alliances with different educational institutions. In this fifth edition in particular, agreements have been established with the FEDAC schools, the Escola Cristiana de Catalunya Foundation, the Jesuïtes Educació Foundation, the Vedruna schools and Escola Pia de Catalunya.

The program enables young teaches to carry out curricular internships in these participating schools, where they can learn first hand about the day-to-day life of the centers and the educational innovation projects, and includes training sessions and guidance from tutors and mentors. As such, the teachers of the institutions mentor the interns, support and guide them during this period of professional and personal development at the schools.

In order to be trained in this mentoring role, the program offers mentoring training for the schools' teachers. With different online and face-to-face sessions throughout the academic year at Blanquerna, this training course allows educators to gain the skills and knowledge needed to support and monitor the internships of new teachers in their learning process and professional development.
