Observatory Blanquerna releases a report on youngsters, religion and technology
The Blanquerna Observatory of Communication, Religion and Culture has just published the book «Young People, Religions and Technology in Catalonia.»
The study, carried out in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya, explores young people and adolescents’ use of new technologies in general and, more specifically, in the religious field.
The work, which is based on almost 2,000 interviews, finds that the activity of youngsters on the internet is closely linked to the physical circles of young people, as explained by the Academic vice-dean of our School and member of the research team, Josep Lluís Micó, in an article by El Periódico de Catalunya.
In addition to Professor Micó, Míriam Díez, director of Obs Blanquerna, Alba Sabaté, Meritxell Cabanas, Laia Roigé, Laia Dorca and Lara M. Villarón also participated in the study.
