Make the most of the summer with our practical workshops

From 25 to 27 June, practical workshops will be held at Blanquerna FCRI to learn about and experience professional environments in the areas of communication and international relations.
These are courses for students of 4th year of ESO, high school and vocational training. The first two days will be dedicated to workshops. Each participant can register for up to two workshops (one per day) and on the third day there will be meetings with ex-students to talk about the transition from university to professional insertion.

Audiovisual communication
- Shooting on set. Learn how to work on a set and film with our latest cameras and work in our editing rooms. Teachers: Jaume Benet and Joan Bosch, directors and professors of the degree in Audiovisual Communication at the School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL.
- Direction of actors. Work with an actor / actress preparing to shoot a scene that we will record and edit. Teacher: Judith Colell, director of cinema and director of the degree in Audiovisual Communication at the School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL.
Journalism and corporate communication
- Likes, RT and hashtags: journalism in networks. Get to know the main tools for creating and managing content for digital media and social networks. Teacher: Eli Vivas, person responsible for journalism of data at El Periódico de Catalunya.
- Reporters: TV on the street. A taste of television journalism, to see the process of recording image and sound, writing and editing. Professors: Mireia Prats and Lluís Miquel García, news reporters for TV3
Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing
- Designing a digital advertising campaign. Design a campaign from the concept to a video ad. Professor: Josep Rom, director of the Degree in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing at the School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL.
- Organizing an event. Design and production of a communication event. From the management of the commission to the stages of production. Teacher: Josep M. Picola. Director of Customer Services at the DreiBlau Communication agency.
International Relations
- Armed conflicts and contemporary peace processes. Learn about the dynamics that lead to armed conflict, but also the tools necessary to prevent and manage them. Professor: Albert Caramés, European Coordinator, International Institute for Nonviolent Action (NoVACT)
- GCM: Managing Big Global Events. Professor: Enric Ordeix, director of the degree Global Communication Management at the School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL
