Digilab hosted a seminar on trust in the media in today’s society

On May 16 and 17, the Digilab research group hosted a seminar featuring Professor Julie Firmstone from the University of Leeds and Professor John Steel from the University of Derby.
The sessions focused on discussing trust in the media and news within contemporary societies, and the event featured the presentation of the report “News Literacy Report: Lessons in building public confidence and trust”, by Firmstone and Steel.
Furthermore, Digilab researchers had the chance to showcase several of the group’s research projects related to media trust. The seminar provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange in preparation for future research.
