Discover the importance of the Mediterranean Diet
On January 23rd, Dr. Dolors Zomeño took part in the Ràdio Estel morning show, where she talked about the healthy and sustainable Mediterranean Diet.
The professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics has outlined the origins of the Mediterranean Diet, together with its main foods, highlighting the high use of virgin olive oil and the low intake of meat compared to the rest of foods.
She also warned about the rebound effects of the so-called "operation bikini", where many people dodge certain foods to lose the weight gained at Christmas in preparation for the summer.
