Blanquerna-URL delivers a new series of the Blanquerna-Escola workshops
Blanquerna-URL will deliver the Blanquerna-Escola Workshops on January 25, intended for students in their last year of high school or training cycle, with the aim of giving them an introduction to and overview of the University and information on our degree options. All the workshops will be delivered by our faculty and student ambassadors, who will provide information and guidance to the students attending.
These hands-on workshops simulate the workplace environment and tasks of specific professions, and are designed to give students insight into sectors and advice and tips for dealing with the things they will encounter. Our workshops have a number of formats that can be adapted to the needs of each educational center. The fields covered are psychology, education, sport, health, communication, and international relations.
The workshops are free of charge and are designed for High School and Training Cycle students. The aim is to help future university students to choose their course of study by offering insight into careers available for students with degrees offered by Blanquerna-URL.
In the course of one morning or one afternoon, students can visit our facilities and participate in workshops on:
- Physiotherapy and nutrition
- Education, psychology, speech and language therapy, and sports management
- Journalism, digital communication, advertising, audio-visual communications, management and international relations
