Blanquerna-URL attends "Study in Spain" fair in Panama City
Blanquerna-URL attended the “Estudiar en España” held in Panama City on 21st March.
Blanquerna-URL had the opportunity to inform all those interested in studying in Spain of its broad training offer in person. The fair was intended to publicize and guide students on the academic choices offered by the country.
The choice of Blanquerna-URL to participate in the first edition of this event has been motivated by statistics, which reflect a 15% increase in Panamanian student trafficking in Spain compared to last year.
From Blanquerna-URL, the aim was to give guidance, and they had all the opportunities that Barcelona could offer them. Among them, they were told about the degrees, double degrees, own degrees and postgraduates that could be taken at the three faculties. On the other hand, the academic excellence, variety of programs and good reputation of Spanish universities were highlighted. In addition, the proximity between the two cultures and the quality of life offered by the Spanish peninsula was highlighted.
The fair was headed by the Spanish Embassy in Panama and the Spanish Service for Internationalization of Education (SEPIE). Blanquerna-URL's representative at the fair was the Director of Marketing, Communication and Admissions, Eva Márquez.
The Spanish universities that participated were: la Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Santander), Universidad de Jaén, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), La Salle - IQS- Blanquerna de la Universidad Ramon Llull (Barcelona), la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech, la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and el Istituto Europeo Di Design (IED) (Madrid).
