AQU approves new degree programs of Communication at Blanquerna FCRI
The Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU) has approved the new degree programs of Communication at Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations.
Thus, starting in the next academic year 2015-2016, the education programs offered by our School will be even better adapted to the reality of the sector. In the new plans approved by AQU, we have maintained our common core subjects, based on a strong grounding in Humanities, while specialization gains weight in the curriculum.
To the traditional Degree in Journalism has been added Corporate Communications, with the intention of adapting these studies to the increasing demand for communication professionals for companies, organizations and institutions. This change has been carried out without neglecting our comprehensive training in the field of journalism.
Marketing has been incorporated as a third essential element in the previous Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, with the aim of increasing the employability of future students in the field of strategic, operational, and digital marketing.
Furthermore, the name Audiovisual Communication has been used once more to designate studies which are no longer limited to film and television, but rather explore all the communication possibilities of the 21st century.
