«Alma y Amantes», Blanquerna Best Communicator of the Year Award
Both parts of Estrella Damm's "Alma y Amantes" ad campaign wins the Blanquerna Award for Best Communicator of the year and Betevé will receive the Extraordinary Prize.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium (Valldonzella, 12) in the framework of the Blanquerna Conferences, which this year celebrate the 25th anniversary of the School.
With the expressive potential of modern dance
The students, faculty and administration and services staff wanted to recognize this piece "because it is a successful advertising campaign that reflects and reinforces the advertiser's commitment to sustainability and incorporates the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) into its communication strategy, more specifically SDG 12 (sustainable consumption and production) and SDG 14 (life below water)."
With an impacting motto, the ad questions: "If we want to maintain our lifestyle, shouldn't we protect what makes it possible?," and in a very visual way, Estrella Damm reinforces the commitment to sustainability that has always defined its policies with the aim of raising awareness about the protection of the Mediterranean Sea.
Betevé, Blanquerna Extraordinary Award
The same day, Betevé, the public television of Barcelona, will also be awarded the Extraordinary prize. This is an acknowledgment to the Betevé Information Services, for the coverage of the post-sentencing demonstrations and because Betevé also celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, as our School does: "During all these years it has been a reference for proximity communication, of plural information and commitment to the audiovisual public service," say the University Leaders.
Betevé began broadcasting on November 3, 1994, through UHF channel 39. That same year, FCRI Blanquerna opened its doors for the first time.
