How to protect your work
As the author of a work, without having to register it anywhere, the law recognizes you have two types of rights.
Copyright
These are the rights that creators have over their works. They can be moral and patrimonial or exploitation rights.
These rights are set out in the Copyright Act.
On February 21, 2014, the Spanish Congress published in the “Official General Courts Gazette” the Bill amending the revised text of the Copyright Act, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of April 12, and Act 1/2000, of January 7, on Civil Procedure.
