University specialisation diploma in Religious Culture

This diploma offers the possibility of obtaining solid knowledge about the concept of Religious Culture and knowing how to read the keys to its social impact from various perspectives related to religious heritage, religious diversity and the educational fact. And, at the same time, knowing how to analyze how the religious fact has permeated the cultural world through art, music, artistic expressions and heritage for more than two thousand years. Finally, this postgraduate degree provides a space for reflection on the pedagogical approach of the religious fact in the education of our country.
The diploma is structured in 5 modules. The first is dedicated to human anthropology and its relationship with spirituality and ethics, delving into the sociological reality of Catalonia. The second module presents The Bible and the Judeo-Christian tradition, showing the influence on our culture. A third module presents the various expressions of the religious fact in the arts: painting, architecture, sculpture, music, gastronomy, cinema. The fourth module addresses the coexistence today of various religious traditions and new religious identities. Finally, there is a fifth module dedicated to the pedagogical approach to religion in our country. Through an active and participatory methodology, synchronous online sessions will be combined with oral presentations, debates, visits, auditions and routes through emblematic spaces and conversations with different religious confessions.
Teachers and graduates in Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles, since there is no specific degree in this area. Educators, Teachers and professors of religion, Human Resources Managers and Diversity Managers. At the same time, completing these studies can and should allow obtaining academic solidity for the many educational subjects related to the Humanities. The postgraduate degree may have a general interest in relation to people who work in the field of social care.
