Third language accreditation
We inform future undergraduate students that in accordance with the sole article of Law 1/2018, of 8 May, amending article 211 of Law 2/2014, on fiscal, administrative, financial and public sector.
Students who begin their undergraduate studies at a Catalan university in the 2018-2019 academic year and later must prove, at the end of their studies, the knowledge of a foreign language among those established in the entrance exams. at the University (PAU), with a level equivalent to B2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The accreditation referred to in paragraph 1 may be obtained by means of certificates accrediting knowledge of languages which have recognized equivalence with the Common European Framework of Reference. The department responsible for universities, through the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia, must ensure the development of this procedure.
Consequently, Ramon Llull University informs all students who begin undergraduate studies from the 2018-2019 academic year that, when they complete their undergraduate studies at Ramon Llull University, they must have documented proof before the Academic Secretary the achievement of level B2 of the CEFR of a third foreign language among those established in the PAU, in order to be able to proceed to the issuance of the corresponding degree once passed all the credits of each Plan of studies, and in compliance with the aforementioned law 1/2018. "
It should be noted, however, that the achievement of the levels of English in the degrees of the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations serves to certify the requirement and to apply for the degree, and it will not be necessary to provide any other language certification.
