This Monday, the School signed a sponsorship and collaboration agreement with the Catalan Film Academy to give voice to the Academy's Scriptwriting Residency, a scriptwriting incubator for fiction feature films directed by filmmaker Carla Simón.

Helena Roca, alumni of the School of Communication and International Relations (Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing, class of 2022) and senior specialist in Corporate Communication of the Bimbo Group, visited the 3rd-year seminar of the Journalism and Corporate Communication degree led by professor Marçal Sintes on Wednesday 22nd.

The u22 Youth Film Festival in Barcelona is holding its fifth edition between 12 and 17 September at the Fundació Joan Miró, and is looking for young people to start working on the Festival team between five months and one month prior to the event.

Last week, as part of the New Media course of the bachelor's degree in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing, the students of professor Marc Alegre received a visit from Xavier Robles, founder of the influencer agency Vizz, the e-sports club Dux and podcast production company Splendid, among other projects.

Blanquerna-URL welcomed more than 350 future students, most of whom were accompanied by their families, to the Open Day held in the three schools last Saturday. Visitors were given a detailed explanation by the management teams and information about the bachelor degrees that are taught, followed by a guided tour of the schools' facilities and an opportunity to deal with any queries over breakfast.

This March 26 is World Climate Day, a date intended to raise awareness among society about the importance of taking measures to protect the environment and combat climate change.

On March 25, Blanquerna-URL will host the second Open Day of the three scheduled for this 2022-2023 academic year. Attendees will be welcomed at 10 am by the three respective schools.

International Water Day takes place every year on March 22, reminding us of the importance of this natural resource for our lives and for the planet. Water is essential for the survival of all living beings and for the economic and social development of societies.
