Blanquerna at #Goya2023
The 37th edition of the Goya Awards (Spanish Film Academy) was held this Saturday in Seville.
Blanquerna was represented at the event with the award for best leading actress going to alumna Laia Costa (Advertising and Public Relations, 2007), for the film Cinco Lobitos (Lullaby). Congratulations, Laia!
The gala was produced by Gestmusic, our academic partner for the Master's Degree in Entertainment Programs. Sandra Tapia, production director of As Bestas (The Beasts), winner of the award for best film, is a professor on the same master's degree. The vice-dean of business and sustainability of the School and president of the Academy of Catalan Cinema, Dr. Judith Colell, attended the event. Colell had been vice-president of the Spanish Film Academy between 2011 and 2015, and interim president in 2016.
