Visit to the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations by the general secretaries of CCOO and UGT
The general secretary of Comisiones Obreras de Catalunya, Javier Pacheco, accompanied by the communication secretary of Comisiones Obreras, Gonzalo Plata, and the general secretary of the Unión General de Trabajadores, Camil Ros, visited the School on Wednesday 19.
The heads of Catalonia's two main trade unions toured the center's facilities, accompanied by the Dean of the School, Dr. Josep Lluís Micó, and the Assistant Dean for Institutional Relations, Francesc-Marc Álvaro.
Afterwards, accompanied by the Vice-Dean for Business and Sustainability, Dr. Judith Colell, and the Director of the Alumni area, Sònia de Jaime, they addressed a number of topics of interest, such as placement expectations in the professional communication sector, new business models regarding job profiles, the impact of digitalization, university internships in companies and institutions, and the overlaps between the work and academic environments.
