The URL among the most prominent universities in the world according to "World University Rankings 2023"

The "World University Rankings" are published every year in the Times Higher Education magazine. In this new edition, they analyzed 1,799 universities in 104 countries around the world. The selection is based on 13 indicators, which measure the performance of higher education institutions in 5 areas, weighted with the following percentages; teaching (30%), research (30%), citations (30%), international projection (7.5%) and knowledge transfer (2.5%). To evaluate all these indicators, the ranking considered data from 3 sources: data from universities, bibliometric data from Elsevier, and surveys of members of the academic community (more than 40,000 professionals) worldwide.

Ramon Llull University (URL) performed especially well in the area of citations in scientific publications, where it achieved 83.6 points out of a maximum of 100. From the international viewpoint, it stands out in the following indicators: international collaboration with 74.9 points, the percentage of foreign students with 74.3 points and the percentage of international faculty with 50.4 points.
