Talent Blanquerna at the Gaudí and Goya Awards
In the coming weeks, the Goya and Gaudí Awards, which several Alumni of our School have been nominated for, will be handed out.
Marcel Barrena (Audiovisual Communication, 6th graduating year) and Marc Crehuet (Audiovisual Communication, 4th graduating year) have a total of 18 nominations for the Gaudí Awards for their productions «100 metros» and «El Rei Borni», respectively.
«100 metros» has nominations in a number of categories: Best non-Catalan language film, Best Screenplay, Best Production Direction, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup and Hairdressing.
Furthermore, «El Rey Tuerto» has been nominated for Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Main Actor and Best Main Actress, Best Art Direction and Best Supporting Actor and Actress.
The Gaudí gala will take place on January 29th and will be presented by Bruno Oro.
As for the Goya Awards, Álvaro Corcuera (Journalism, 7th graduating year) has been nominated in the category of Best short documentary for «The Resurrection Club». In this contest, «100 metros» also has a nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actor. The Goya Awards will be handed out on February 4th.
