Signed agreements with universities in Australia and New Zealand
The Dean of the School, Dr. Josep Maria Carbonell has just signed a number of agreements for the exchange of professors and students with Curtin University, Australian Catholic University and Auckland University of Technology.
Curtin University is one of the largest university centers in Western Australia, with campuses in Bentley and Perth, as well as presence in Dubai, Malaysia, Mauritius and Singapore.
On his visit to the Australian Catholic University (McKillop Campus), Dr. Carbonell was welcomed by Dr. Chris Riley, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global and Education Pathways, and Professor Kirk Doyle, Associate Director of International Relations and Partnerships.
In New Zealand, the dean met his counterpart, Professor Guy Littlefair, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dean of the Faculty of Auckland University of Technology.
International Cross-Cultural Communication Conference, in Perth
Accompanied by Dr. Enric Ordeix, director of the degree in Global Communication Management, Carbonell also participated in a new edition of the international conference, which, for the last four years, has been jointly organized by Emerson College, Chulalongkorn University, Zayed University, Murdoch University and Blanquerna.
This year, the International Cross-Cultural Communication Conference was held in Perth and the Dean was the final keynote speaker in a meeting that chose diversity as the main theme: “Communicating diversity in the post-multicultural era: exploring paradoxes, challenges and opportunities. ”
