The QS World University Ranking by Subject 2023 has once again listed Ramon Llull University (URL) among the best universities in the world in the areas of Business & Management, Hospitality & Leisure Management, and Psychology.

Young University Rankings (2024)

Ramon Llull University (URL) has been ranked in the world ranking of universities under 50 years old - THE Young University Rankings - with very good results. It has achieved the 194th place worldwide and the 5th place in Spain.

Among private universities in Spain, URL is in the 1st position.

22nd edition of 50 CARRERAS 2023

Degrees in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing and the Degree in Early Childhood Education have ranked third and fifth respectively.

QS World University Ranking by Subject (2023)

The Marketing (URL) and Psychology (Blanquerna-URL) studies stand out, in the 1st and 10th position of Spain in the ranking, and 20-50 and 301-330 in the world.

The Psychology degree of the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sports Sciences Blanquerna is located in the range 401-500.

Ramon Llull University (URL) has been ranked in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, specifically, among the 501-600 in the world. The University is also ranked 7th in Spain and 4th in the Catalan university system. It has excelled in the area of citations in scientific publications (83.6 points out of 100) and internationally.

U-Ranking (2023)

The URL is positioned in the 1st group of universities with the best teaching performance in Spain and 1st in Catalonia. In the general performance ranking, it appears in the 5th group of best universities in Spain with the best performance.

El Mundo top ranking 250 master's degrees (2022)

Four Blanquerna-URL master's degrees are among the best in Spanish universities: The master's degree in Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Teacher Training, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, the master's degree in Advertising Strategy and Creativity, the master's degree in Educational Psychology and the master's degree in Advanced Journalism and Reporting.

In the QS World University Ranking by Subject the Psychology courses taught by the School of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences are ranked 9th in Spain and in the 301-330 range globally. For its part, the URL's Business Administration and Management course, taught at IQS-URL, La Salle-URL and Esade-URL, maintains its 1st position in Spain and is ranked 17th worldwide. And Tourism and Hotel Management, taught by IQS-URL, is again ranked 2nd in Spain and in the 51-100 range worldwide.

As well as disciplines, the ranking also lists areas of knowledge. In the field of Social Sciences and Management, the URL is in 6th position in Spain and 100th in the world, out of a total of 530 institutions listed. Bachelor degrees related to Management at Blanquerna-URL include Global Communication Management (School of Communication and International Relations) and the Bachelor Degree in Sports Management (School of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport).

The QS World University Ranking by Subject is one of the most prestigious international university rankings and this year's report has measured the educational quality of more than 1,594 educational institutions around the world in 54 disciplines. The ranking uses four criteria to draw up the classifications:

The results of over 150,000 responses to a survey of universities' reputations among academics worldwide.
99,000 responses from another reputation survey among employers.
The number of citations in scientific publications over a five-year period.
The H Index, which is based on the most cited publications and the number of citations they have received in other scientific articles.

Depending on the subject, the ranking gives a different weight to each of these four indicators.
