International Relations Students engage in the final debate: «What is the Future of Europe?»
The Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, CIDOB, one of the most important think-tanks in the Mediterranean, hosted international relations students and their final debate on the future of Europe.
Students from Seminar 3 on Introduction to International Relations had to prepare themselves to represent different roles and players of the international arena, such as NGO’s or Governments: Greenpeace, Germany, Médecins Sans Frontières, Deutsche Bank, Amazon, Transparency International or Nestlé, among many others.
They discussed climate change, borders and refugee crisis, security and European Army, protection or liberalization of trade… always based on analysis and evidence and not on opinions and feelings. Professor Pol Morillas, director and Senior Research Fellow of CIDOB opened the session and researcher Héctor Sánchez Margalef offered concluding remarks.
