The degree in International Relations closes more than a hundred work placements
A total of 123 agreements will become effective during the academic year 21/22, amongst which are curricular internships and offers to the central services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEUEC).
The degree in International Relations has arranged 84 offers of curricular internships to 56 different companies. Additionally, thanks to the new agreement with the MAEUEC, it has presented 39 offers to the central services of the Ministry.
Of these, 16 are abroad, in Brussels, Paris, Belgrade, Vienna, Geneva, London, Beirut, Istanbul and Seoul, (14 of which are face-to-face or semi-face-to-face, and 2 are still telecommuting due to restrictions of the Covid 19 pandemic), 61 in Barcelona and 7 in the rest of the country.
The functions that our students will develop are foreign relations (14 + 39), project management (24), international communication (18), research and analysis (12), internationalization of companies (7), public affairs (4), and others (4). By type of organisation, 20 positions are for public institutions with an international character (+39 MAEUEC), 37 for international associations and NGOs, 8 for private companies, 4 for consultants, 6 for think tanks, 3 for research and training organisations, and 6 others.
By sector, the offers are in European affairs, human rights, security, geopolitics, Mediterranean affairs, global public health, business, development, culture, environment, migration, cities and regions, among others, and, finally, by regional area, in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia and MENA.
