BlanquernaFCRI signs an agreement with DocsBarcelona to provide a comprehensive training program in documentaries
Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations and DocsBarcelona (through DocsBarcelona Documentary School) have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly offer an extensive program of university education in the field of documentary filmmaking.
The pillars of this program, which is projected to begin during the academic course 2015-16, are an International Master in Management and Executive Production of Documentaries, a Master’s in Interactive Documentaries and a Summer School course on Documentaries, among others.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Josep M. Carbonell, Dean of Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna, and Joan González, director of DocsBarcelona.
This agreement reinforces Blanquerna FCRI’s university courses in the audiovisual field and forges an alliance with an entity that is one of the major figures in the Catalan and international audiovisual sector in the genre of documentaries.
