Blanquerna FCRI Alumni meetings held in Madrid, London and New York

The Alumni Department of the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations has held the annual meetings of the chapters in Madrid, London and New York. With these activities Alumni closes the academic year 2014-2015.

On Thursday, June 25th, the group of alumni living in Madrid met in the offices of Ogilvy & Matter, invited by its CEO, Mr. Jesus Valderrábano, who stressed "the importance of these alumni meetings to create a strong network of professionals." The alumni were accompanied by professor Miquel Martret and they were all invited to attend the lecture "Tener ideas. Vender ideas. Hacer magia” by Santiago Sanchez-Lozano, Business Advertising Manager at Ogilvy & Matter. This was the fourth annual meeting of the Madrid Chapter.

Regarding international chapters, the group of alumni of the London Chapter held their annual meeting on July 16th. On this occasion, the alumni were able to visit the Delegation of the Catalan Government in the UK, categorized as a historic building, with the help of the Delegate of the Generalitat, Mr. Josep Suarez, who welcomed all participants and explained the functions of this important delegation. This time, the students were accompanied by the director of the degree in Journalism, professor Marçal Sintes. The website of the Generalitat of Catalonia has reported on this meeting.

Moreover, the New York Chapter of alumni met on Friday, July 17th, this time accompanied by Professor Enric Ordeix, director of the Career Department. The group of alumni visited the studios of NY1 - ​​Time Warner Cable, with Roberto Lacayo (News Director - New York 1 Noticias) and the alumna Andrea Marroquin.

Autumn 2015 will host future meetings with alumni annual meetings of the Brussels Chapter and the Paris Chapter.
