ApS Juguem Juntes (Let's Play Together Service-Learning): an inclusive school event for students of the Education degree
On Monday we received a visit from Cristina Gutiérrez, head of La Granja Barcelona. Ability Training Center and specialist in applied emotional skills. This presentation launched a day of joint work in which dynamics were proposed to raise awareness around the inclusive paradigm in education.
The first year students of the subject "Education through the body and movement", and the 4th year students of the optional subject "Students with special educational needs" took part in the Service-Learning
The first year students of the subject "Education through the body and movement", and 4th year students of the optional subject "Students with special educational needs" of the specialization in Attention to Diversity and Inclusive Education, took part in the presentation that launched a Service Learning event. The 4th year students proposed dynamics designed jointly with their faculty to raise awareness and train their 1st year classmates on the inclusive paradigm in education.
The first year subject is fully implemented through the ApS Juguem Juntes (Let's Play together Service-Learning). This methodology has as a unique feature the way it is organized, in a complex learning ecosystem involving: 3 primary schools; FEDAC, Xoriguer and Antoni Doltra and 3 entities: Guttmann, ONCE and La Granja; the faculty of 3 different areas of Blanquerna: EF, LE and ADEI and their students.
In the morning, the future teachers took part in different workshops and sessions on different cases about inclusion and shared experiences related to the field of inclusive school.
