SCIR PhD academic information on languages

The usual languages for work are Catalan, Spanish and English. A doctoral student will be able to write their doctoral thesis in any of these languages. On agreement with the director/tutor and for justified reasons, the thesis may be presented in a different language to those indicated. The School offers Catalan courses free of charge for foreign students or for those from other regions of Spain. The School also has a Language Self-Learning Classroom to support students.
