Recognition of credits for university studies started

Students who wish to join the Blanquerna-URL FPCEE bachelor's degree program with university studies started or completed in another school must pre-enroll to the corresponding studies. They will also have to fill out, before the application deadline (except for the bachelor's degrees in Psychology and/or double majors in Psychology*), a formal request for the prior credit recognition study, attaching a photocopy of the academic record of the degree started and a photocopy of the syllabus of the courses they have studied, stamped by the center of origin.

Students who have begun their studies in a country outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) must attach to their application a certificate of equivalence of credits and grades issued by the Ministry of Education (you can find it at this link).

(*) In the case of students wishing to access the bachelor's degree in Psychology or double majors in Psychology, the period for processing the request for the prior credit recognition study will be from the start of the application period until May 15, 2025.

In these cases:

  1. Only applications that, upon submission, can prove that they have passed a minimum of 45 credits and have a grade point average equal to or higher than 8 will be accepted.
  2. The credit recognition study will be delivered to the student by email:
  • In the event that students are able to recognize 30 credits or more, they will receive the result of the admission process on May 30, depending on the number of places available.
  • If students cannot recognize a minimum of 30 credits, their admission process will be as described in the section on Admission and enrollment for the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology on the website of FPCEE Blanquerna-URL.
  • Those students who submit the request for a prior credit recognition study after the deadline (after May 15) will apply what is stated in the section on Admission and enrollment for the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology on the website of FPCEE Blanquerna-URL. In these cases, the student must enroll for the entire first year. If, ultimately, the student is able to recognize 30 or more credits, they will not be able to extend their enrollment with courses from other years.
