Visit from Kaeti Hinck, Data Editor of The Washington Post

Hinck explained the work of the data team she runs at the Post and the close relationship they have with infographics and the story team, responsible for new narratives. At the paper, they develop between 8 and 15 projects at a time, with the collaboration of up to 30 journalists from the newsroom.

Hinck recommended students to learn the foundations of journalism well: "We need to know how to tell stories and the basic tools of journalism; the rest is time and experimentation."
