Queco Novell and Ivan Labanda visit the Graduate Program in Comedy Screenwriting
Students of the specialization diploma in Scriptwriting and Direction of Comedy Programmes for Radio and TV, offered jointly by Minoria Absoluta and Blanquerna FCRI, had a special session with actors Ivan Labanda and Queco Novell, stars of the satirical programme Polònia.
For the last month, the students have been working on the structure of a comedy sketch with the deputy director and head writer of Polònia, Professor Jaume Buixó.
Very quickly, students got to work and started writing -and rewriting- their own sketches, in order to present them to the rest of the group and more importantly, submit them to the criticism of the actors.
Novell and Labanda had the opportunity to share their experiences with the students. They explained how they work and what contributions can be made in the process of gestation of a sketch and the gags that change an idea into a piece that makes you die laughing.
