Muslim Markets and Islamic Economics: Opportunities in Barcelona
The course is sponsored by the Promotora de Exportaciones Agroalimentarias (Prodeca) and with the support of the General Consulate of the Arab Emirates, Casa Asia, Pimec and the Center for Studies and Research in Economy and Islamic Finance (Ceifi).
It is estimated that a decade from now, Muslims in the world will be close to 2,200,000 people, half of whom will be under 30 years of age. Without a doubt, it is an important segment consumption on a global scale.
Countries like Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Iran, but also England, France and Germany, are emerging as consumers of products adapted to the Islamic tastes and traditions. And companies from non-Muslim countries are taking advantage of this great potential.
For this reason, Blanquerna has joined forces with Barcelona Halal Services to organize the first executive course on Muslim markets and Islamic economy.
It is a course aimed at professionals from the economic, business and institutional world who want to deepen their knowledge of the opportunities offered by Muslim countries and markets, both internationally and in our more immediate surroundings.
