Blanquerna FCRI has celebrated its twentieth anniversary with its alumni
Along with the RAC1 radio programme team, La Segona Hora, more than 400 alumni came to the encounter to remember class stories and to chat with their former teachers, now professional colleagues.
The party, according to our alumni Xavi Pérez Esquerdo, in conjunction with La Segona Hora of Minoria Absoluta, offered a fictionary journey through our university with historical characters of the 20th Century such as Franco, Tejero, the Pope and Juan Carlos I.
In their speeches, always presented by La Segona Hora —who, along with Pérez Esquerdo, also have the alumna Candela Figueras working with them—, both Dr. Miquel Tresserras and the Dean of the School, Josep Maria Carbonell, emphasized how important the alumni are for Blanquerna: “This will always be your home,” said Dr. Carbonell.
The party, which lasted for about three hours, was in part sponsored by Banco de Santander and the beer company Moritz.
