75.9% job placement for the School of Communication

The employability of the students who finished their degrees last year at Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations is on average 75.9%. The degrees of Journalism, and Advertising and Public Relations are those with the highest rate of job placements reaching 80% and 78.9% respectively while the degree of Cinema and Television reaches 63.8%.
The annual employment survey also shows that one of the main ways in which these graduates joined the workforce in 2013 was through mandatory internships during 3rd and 4th year, which already allowed an average of 1 in 4 (26.5%) of our students to get into the job market. This survey was conducted by the Department of Alumni, during the months of March and April 2014.
