Where to publish
To choose the journal in which to publish your research there are two essential criteria to consider:
- The subject matter: that the journal addresses the subject of the article
- Impact rates: that it has a presence in the impact indicators assessed by the AQU
Other important criteria:
- Open access
- Speed of publication
- Rejection rate
- Number of articles published
Searching the WoS and Scopus databases will provide you with a list of journals on your topic that have a high impact rate.
Wos and Scopus are two databases that only contain articles with a high impact factor and you can use them to fin a list of the journals best suited to your article.

- Science Citation Index Expanded
- Social Science Citation Index
- Arts & Humanities Citation Index
- Emerging Science Citation Index
