The importance of fiber in food

On February 13, Professor Eulàlia Vidal took part in the Ràdio Estel morning show, where she talked about the importance of fiber in food.

The professor of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics explained that, except in specific cases, there is no need to buy foods rich in fiber if we already have a healthy diet, because most basic foods already have enough.

She also explained its importance in reducing the rate of entry of components such as blood sugar, preventing diabetes, and in regulating intestinal transit.
