Eating disorders
Eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia and obesity) are pathologies caused by many factors and have consequences for the health and behavior of the sufferer and those around them. Although at first these disorders mostly affected girls and young women, they have spread to other segments of the population over time. Their treatment is long and complex, so medical and psychological monitoring are required and families need to be closely involved.
