THE ART OF SPEAKING
We learn to speak from such a young age that we believe it is totally natural, but there is no art more complex than that of speech: telling a joke that makes people laugh, convincing a skeptical audience, or holding a child's attention while telling a story are not easy tasks. If we also think that speech may be affected by psychological difficulties, we must also combine speech and language therapy and public speaking skills in order to make ourselves understood. With this guide, we present the resources of both disciplines that you will find in the Blanquerna libraries, so you can learn to persuade the most discerning listeners with your discourse.
